Bioaugmentation of a Biobed System with an Immobilized Actinomycete Strains to Enhance the Degradation of Organophosphate Pesticides

Objetivo general

To evaluate the use of actinobacterial consortia for the degradation of a mixture of pesticides.

Objetivos específicos

1.- To isolate actinomycetes strains with the capacity to degrade organophosphate pesticides (chlorpyrifos and diazinon). 2.- To evaluate the appropriate support to immobilize the isolated actinomycetes strains for increase the stability and the viability of the inoculum for pesticide degradation. 3.- To evaluate the degradation of chlorpyrifos and diazinon in the biobed biomixture through batch experiment. 4.- To study the effect of the bioaugmentation the biobed system with an immobilized actinomycete for degradation of organophosphate pesticide (chlorpyrifos and diazinon).
